Hello 2021, 2020 is gone. Can you imagine how quickly it went by. It was a trying year. Did we learn anything or did it just fly over our heads? Last year really emphasized my need to keep my health and my family. Everything else is just gravy. Even with all that happened I know that life is good. Look at your life carefully and determine what is there to be grateful and there is always something to be grateful for, even if it’s something “bad” as it will teach a lesson. Just learn from the lesson. That’s what makes life interesting.
I am thinking this year instead of focusing on setting those resolutions that we in all probability will not keep, how about focusing on the things we are really grateful. I think focusing on these will then make you understand what you want to achieve this year. It won’t be something that we have no chance of achieving but something that we might already be doing but know that we can make better. Most persons never keep the New Years resolutions beyond the second or third month. Why put yourself under that much pressure? Instead look at the things that you are grateful for and also make you happy. Just take baby steps.
Say you are grateful for your health, so how can you try to keep it and in so doing make your life even better? Change the way you eat, exercise, do your checkups, reduce alcohol consumption. You get the picture. The things that you are so grateful for might just be the things that make you even more fulfilled.
At the end of the day there are so many things to be grateful for as 2020 showed me. I will focus on those things and I will know that life is good and will get better. I wish you all a happy new year and all the best for the year. I really want to know what you are thinking, and I know others do too. Thanks so much for your weekly messages. I’m grateful for so many things in my life. Trying to see the good in the bad that took place but I’m trusting God and giving Him all the praises.
Amen my friend.
I am grateful for the obvious
first for family
Acceptable health with the hope of not only maintaining but improving
An income with possibilities
I am exceptionally grateful for the challenges experienced and more so for success of overcoming in some instances and for the continuous strategies and options created to deal with the challenges day by day
There are those over which I have little or no control and pray for the wisdom and patience until a solution is provided
My hope is to chart of path of positive energy and endeavors
Focus on how to do better in areas of importance
Aspire to let my family feel my presence and the strength of my love
Last but not least not take anything for granted
And yes get a reasonable and doable exercise program in place
Keep up the good work
I am forever grateful
So much to be grateful for. 2020 did force us to look at and show gratitude for the small things in life and also the large things.
To GOD be the glory once our eyes are open we must be grateful to GOD and give Him thanks because some of the things we complain about some persons would be glad to even have a quarter of it. Bless you Mrs Perry.
Every day above ground is a great day. 🙏🏽
Happy New Year Andrea! I am forever thankful to God for allowing my loved ones & I to see another year. Last year emphasized the importance of putting my trust in God only and that He has control over my life. I welcome this year with hope that God will deliver us from the pandemic & the other evils, seen and unseen. My focus this year is to continue to live out my God-given purpose.
Happy new year to you too. That’s the best way to live your life magnifying your God-given purpose.
