Hurricane Beryl was unexpected and created serious issues for so many. She came early in the year and went against history. We had now choice but to work around her. Do we embrace the unexpected or move away from it? Life is both unpredictability and we see moments of the unexpected. I am one who likes the predictable and the routine that I create. Some will not agree with me because they love the unexpected because of what they see as life throwing excitement into their lives. I might not enjoy the unexpected but what to do but embrace it. As someone said to me it is all about growth and new perspectives. Do you agree that the unexpected gives you the ability to grow and show new perspectives?
Are you one that embraces the unexpected? Not necessarily a hurricane but something new that might blow into your life as if it’s a hurricane. Some persons find the unexpected that might spring on them as alluring and something that must be embraced. As a friend said their life cannot be monotonous and there must be challenges so that they can grow. With the changes that are thrown at you does it really allows you to grow. Thinking about it that should be a good thing. It allows us to grow and develop personally and therefore push us out of our comfort zone. I guess that’s when we start to stretch ourselves, think outside the box and develop resilience. Well we should in theory.
Not all unexpected moments can be seen as hurricane Beryl. Sometimes they are small things that happen that can bring joy and major happiness. My favorite is the unexpected rainbow or seeing someone that you might not have seen in forever and genuinely are glad to see them.
The fact that life is fluid should have us understanding that the unexpected is really a part of life. There isn’t much that you can do but embrace it, even if it throws your life out of whack. It’s best not to worry about the past, present and the future. Just embrace and moved on, after all it’s life.
The unexpected is just a part of life. While it might give a feeling of uneasiness it can give a feeling of growth and possibility. So the next time life colors outside the lines, try to see it as an opportunity for adventure and discovery. You never know what fantastic things might be just around the corner. Life is as we know unpredictably.
