“Faith in God includes faith in his timing.”
Have you ever wanted something so badly that as the saying goes you can taste it? Many times we can’t understand why things don’t happen at the time we want it. I’m not sure where the quote came from but it sums up what my stepmom would say to me all the time. She even more that my parents believed that God always did things in his own time. As you know I always say that he sure takes his time to do everything but my stepmom always says trust his process. Today I decided to write about God’s timing. I have seen it.
I had this quote sitting with nothing to write about until I saw how one needed to have faith and really have faith in God’s timing. I have a friend that has tremendous, unwavering faith and I saw how she never let go of her faith no matter what. She wanted things to go her way but nothing worked as she wanted it. Then her situation changed, everything happened at the same time. All that she had prayed for was manifested in one fell swoop. I remember saying to her this is God’s work. She agreed. The thing is everything she had been doing was preparing her for this moment. If what she wanted had happened before, she would not have been prepared and would have failed, I have no doubt. This experience really opened my eyes to the fact that I have to have faith in God’s timing. It pushes your faith to the limit. As I jokingly said to her I am living vicariously through her. I was with her every step of the way and saw when and how things happened at the perfect time. Now that I think about it maybe this happened to her to help me. That’s how I look at life all the time. I am a glass half full type of person. How can anything that happened to me or anyone else help me whether it’s good or bad. It’s like that meme you will see with all these blocks falling on you but you take them and build them into a platform so that you can climb higher. No matter what you can’t throw up your hands in defeat, you have to believe and hold on to that faith and know that everything happens in God’s time.
On the other hand do we really see it as God’s timing or the fact that nothing is happening for you and God has abandoned you. Is it really what you think or is it that (s)he is just ensuring that you get what is needed not wanted at the right time.

I relate, and have lived and learned to accept God’s timing. It is mind-boggling, mind-blowing. The results are indeed ..”more than we could ever ask or think”
The key to be able to become aware and accept God’s timing, is to have faith, trust and believe. We must be integrally involved in the process. We must pray and be patient.
So true. It’s the patient part that many of us have a problem with. I’m getting there. 🙏🏽
Trusting the process and trusting that you have everything that you need to succeed. Thanks for sharing this insightful message.
Trust is not easy but it’s needed. 🙏🏽
