It’s already the 22nd of December. I’m a bit shocked. Yes it’s Christmas and almost the end of the year. Wow, time sure flies. When I was growing up it would be “time sure flies when you are having fun.” As I write this I realize that’s not really true, time just waits on no one. It seem to have gone even faster during this time of uncertainty. Or maybe it’s just my mind seeing what’s not there and not happening. The end of this week is Christmas and the end of next week is the new year. Wow. Time really is on a roll. This is why you can’t sit waiting for the perfect time. Any thing can happen, any number can play and therefore you just have to go do your thing.
I have heard persons saying there are things they want to do but won’t as they will wait until they retire or for younger persons they will wait until the time is right. How do you know you will get to do what you want then or even live to see that time? Why not do it now? Live your life. Don’t wait until…. I have always tried to live my life when it appears, meaning I don’t wait until it appears to be the perfect time. How do we even know what is the perfect time? Who determines the perfect time? Sometimes we have to go with the flow and do what must be done at the moment. Just as we have to live in the now. Well that’s my thinking? What do you think?
The Christmas tree is up, been up from December 1 😁 as per my children request. They are just like their grandma. Can’t blame them. When do you put up the tree? I will cook a lovely meal for them. Pity my family won’t be here. I’m hoping next year as we get over the hump or this virus things will improve. Imagine not spend Christmas with the extended family for two years. Sigh. 😔
Even with all that’s going on around it’s still my happy time. I play my Christmas music. Started from beginning of December 😁. I won’t allow what’s going on around me to determine how I live my life. Life must go in and it should be as happy as possible. If I sit waiting for things to change it might be a long time waiting. Won’t allow that. Life is too precious to not enjoy. As I have said before when we look at Christmas as what it really is and not all about the spending and the commercialization then it becomes really what it should be. Enjoy yourself, enjoy your family, well that’s it for me. I enjoy what means the most to me. What do you enjoy? Life is there for living. Yes it is, yes it is.
On Monday I watched “it’s a wonderful life” again. I love that movie. It has such wonderful lessons. Gratitude is paramount. That movie made me really understand that our lives are so important. Imagine you not being born? The ripple effect can only be imagined. I look at my life and think what if I had not been born? I see my parents, my husband, my siblings and my kids. Imagine not having been there for them. Interesting. Interesting indeed. That’s when you realize the impact one life can have on another or many others. Just think how important you are to those around you so I want you to never think that you are not. Yes we are all here for a reason. I firmly believe that. It’s at this time of the year that it’s there in your face. I’m glad I’m here. What about you?
Merry Christmas to you all. And for those that don’t celebrate Christmas, have yourself a happy holiday.

I’m in total support. Well said! Time certainly waits on no one…he/she who hesitates is lost. We’re all here for a reason/purpose.
Have a Merry Christmas 🎄 when it comes..
Time waits on no one. It’s just flies.
Have a merry Christmas.
We should all try to live a life that is pleasing to God. Sometimes things happen which is beyond our control, and some, by the choices we make, but we can still try to get back on track.
Time seems to be short but there’s so much we can do.
Have a blessed and wonderful Christmas with family and keep safe. ❤️
“So much we can do”, you are so right and that’s why we should live our best lives.
Merry Christmas to you and the family.
Time flies, that is how it seems, but really, time was never made to be stagnant; it is ever changing. This is suggestive that waiting for a perfect moment isn’t always ideal. Instead we must appreciate the present and embrace each new day with positivity; especially now during this festive season.
Best wishes for the Season,
SW
Live our best lives and live in the now.
