Early one morning recently my husband noticed there was no electricity in any of the kids rooms. It was so strange as everywhere else in the house was fine. My mind went through all kinds of scenarios as to why this could happen. The next day it was checked by the electrician and it turns out that a screw was loose on an outlet in my daughter’s room which caused both rooms to loose electricity. Screw tightened and all is well. Now imagine something that small could cause something so significant in the house.
That’s when I said that’s life. The little things in life if allowed to stay become big things or if ignored intentionally become major things. This can be either good or bad. It’s like your habits. Everything starts out small and then evolve from there. It’s up to us to decide which ones we allow to take over and which ones are discarded. Always remember you are in control of your life and no one else. There is no one else to blame if things don’t work out for you.
It’s like seeing a wasp/bee hive and thinking it’s a few of them so let them be but in no time it becomes something unmanageable. That’s when you think if only I had gotten rid of it when it was small and now it’s dangerous to try getting rid of it without harming yourself. That’s how many problems start and we think they are tiny so they can stay but very often they get out of hand and it’s at a point where there is nothing you can do to chop them down. That’s how heavy drinking starts or many money issues. I knew someone years ago that couldn’t explain why there was a need to embezzle company funds. It started as a small thing, taking some money to do something and putting it back but not getting caught. It just became a habit until they ran out of time and was just not able to pay back what they took. So they ran away because it was easier than facing the persons they stole from and yeah going to jail. Yes I consider it stealing as it not yours and it’s not borrowing as it’s not yours to take if you don’t ask. 🤷🏽♀️. I’m just saying.
It’s the same thing with people. I have noticed that the smallest things can trigger some persons which can escalate to massive things. The thing is when you ask why it’s reached this level there is no wrong or right answer that can be given. There are two ways to look at these situations. The first one is to ignore the little things as they are after all small but in the other hand if you ignore these small things they become massive and often we don’t want or need these things to happen. Think about it there are some persons that you have to stop in their tracks when they do the first “little” discrepancy or they become a real pain. I know you all know what I’m talking about. You have to stop the evil ones in their tracks at the first chance. While there are others that it doesn’t matter. How do you tell the difference?🤔.

Was going to comment but you basically answered your own question with some valuable input to boot.. I guess technically this in itself is a response, lol, like the movie inception.
😉. Didn’t even realize I answered the question. I wanted feedback. 😁
As a friend said today, do sweat the small stuff.
