Last week I wrote about consequences and someone sent me this quote, by Ralph Abernathy, ‘I don’t know what the future may hold, but I know who holds the future.’ The person saw the link and just sent it to me, and I saw the link and decided to write about the future. We can’t see it, we can’t control it, but we can try shaping it for ourselves. It’s important to note we can’t do this ourselves, but it can be done with the help of that higher being. It’s a fact that life is never predictable; it’s full of uncertainties; it is, after all, life. No matter how you think you have everything in the bag, life throws you curve balls sometimes. It’s always up to you to determine how to handle it. It’s your life after all.

As I had mentioned in a previous blog, we can plan until kingdom come, but there is no certainty that what we plan will materialize. Very often there are things that are just outside our control. The important thing to note is that we can’t allow fear of the unknown to prevent us from still planning because it’s that faith which makes us prevail. Faith over fear makes us strong. As we know, both faith and fear can’t live in the same space. It’s either one or the other. Which one will you select? It’s faith for me because in my mind, life happens for us and not to us; so take the changes that push their way into your life as lessons. Control isn’t always ours to have, so the best thing to do is put what you can in place and know whatever that higher being throws at you, it will make you. We don’t break because we don’t live in fear.

Let me know what you think; I really want to know, and I am sure others do too. Try commenting 👍🏽, but if you are not comfortable, reach out to me via any medium. I would love it if you would say something, anything, and tell someone. 🙏🏽 Your comments let me know how you feel and very often give me a totally different perspective on the topic. It could also spawn another blog. 😉. And you can never tell your comment might help others. Always remember life is for living, and you must always live your best life. #lifeisforliving #liveyourbestlife #gratefulforlife #faithgreaterthanfear

See you next Wednesday at 8:00 p.m., Bogotá time.
