Sometimes we have to stop and smell the roses. Every now and again one has to pause and just take stock of what’s happening in our lives and what goes on around us. Sometimes we have to stop and take some time for ourselves. When we stop and get off the treadmill we get the chance to look around, breathe and decide what’s next.
Sometimes it takes a while before you realize you are running on fumes. Why not stop and refill and then take on the world? I guess when you feel invincible the anything is possible. I have grown to understand and know my limitations. If you don’t pause every now and again that’s when life tends to overwhelm you. I have talked about the protection of your mental, physical and spiritual health. When any one of them is out of alignment then you can’t run at your full potential.
I have now ensured that my weekends have some rest because at the end of the day I must know that without resting the body and mind nothing happens for me. I need to take more breaks because I’m not as young as I used 😁 to be so I know I must rest.

See you next Wednesday at 8:00 pm, Bogota time.
I would love it if you would say something, anything and tell someone. 🙏🏽

Indeed! The importance of self-care:) – being intentional about incorporating a daily self-care routine, even for 5 minutes.
That pause, as you said Andrea, “to breathe”, allows us time to relax & recharge so that we can better manage our responsibilities.
It can be challenging at times; we need to be able to recognize when our plate is too full, & set boundaries, not just with others, but with ourselves as well. That pause is vital indeed!:)
So important and we have to know that we have to set priorities.
