Happy New Year and all the best. I hope 2025 is a great and fulfilling year for everyone.

It’s that time of year again when we look back and look forward. I can’t believe the year 2024 is finished and we have stepped into 2025. Time sure flies and it doesn’t care if you are having fun or not, so you might as well enjoy your life. I’m trying to wrap my head around it. Did you achieve what you promised yourself to do last year or was it a promise with no substance? What will you achieve this year or will you not define anything and just go with the flow and hope things turn out okay?

I will be continuing my journey, not sure where I will land but …. It’s about me and my mental health, my physical health, and my spiritual health. I don’t think there are major changes to be made but there are definitely tweaks that will be made to keep myself on the path I have chosen. As I have said before it’s the journey that’s important not really the destination. I have an idea of what I want, don’t know how I will get it but, I will ask that higher being. As the Bible verse states, “You have not because you ask not”. I will ask and I know as the Bible says, “Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you. For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened”.

Let’s step into 2025 knowing that we can achieve so many things. It’s more than making that promise to yourself and not keeping it because you give up after two weeks. Start small and create the habit. If you are going to work on the physical aspect of your life, don’t try to push to do the one-hour workout at the gym every day. Why not start with fifteen minutes and build from there? It’s the little habits that count. That’s what I do. I write every week to build the muscle and create a habit that will be there when I’m ready to fully use it. When I started walking, I did it for a few minutes initially and then built up to an hour at least four to five days a week. It’s all about the small things that become larger.

In a similar fashion, you can cut back and, in the long run, eliminate so many of the habits that should have no place in your life. You know what they are; nobody has to tell you, and you are the only person that can make the change. It’s your life, and nobody else should have control. So today, make the promise to yourself to start small and make the step into 2025 knowing you are going to achieve what you set your mind to accomplish. It’s about you and living your best life. Remember, it’s all about your life and not what you see someone else living on social media. All the best for 2025, and see you next week. I will continue my blog; I never know what the topic will be, but it will always be about life. Because life is made for living.

Let me know what you think; I really want to know, and I am sure others do too. Try commenting 👍🏽, but if you are not comfortable, reach out to me via any medium. I would love it if you would say something, anything, and tell someone. 🙏🏽 Your comments let me know how you feel and very often give me a totally different perspective on the topic. It could also spawn another blog. 😉. And you can never tell your comment might help others. Always remember life is for living, and you must always live your best life. #lifeisforliving #liveyourbestlife #gratefulforlife #faithgreaterthanfear
