Have you ever heard the statement above? It all revolves around the persons you associate with. What ever you do with them will become a part of you. Whoever you are around constantly their type of behavior will become your own. It is after all said birds of a feather flock together.
This is definitely true, well that’s what I think. What do you think? Do you think the behavior or your close associates will rub off on you or do you think that you can escape this?
How many times have you heard someone say that so and so was never like this until they started hanging out with specific persons? Do you actually think it’s true or is it that others can’t influence you to that extent? Peer pressure is not only experienced by teenagers but by many others. I have seen this happen to adults after all persons always want to be a part of the crowd. You just have to decide what crowd you want to be a part of. Do you notice a change in how you behave or react to people and situations for the worst? If you do then maybe you need to look at the persons around you. Have you been sucked in slowly without even realizing? Sometimes we don’t even notice until someone says, “you have changed.” Take it at face value and look deep within.
Have you ever had the situation where the persons around you started to change your behavior? If so how did you deal with it? Or did you just ignore it thinking it would go away? I really want to know what you are thinking, and I know others do too. Try commenting 👍🏽, but if you are not comfortable, reach out to me via any medium. It’s interesting that this theme was shared today, my birthday. When I look back at my life I am so thankful for my circle of friends. Some like you who have been my “flock” since I was 10 years old. This is something I don’t take for granted. I pray we’ll be flying together for life.
Friends for life. It is interesting that the personalities are very alike. Maybe we are who we hang around with.
