I was talking to friend one day about old music, that’s her thing, even more than me. We talked about persons that we at the top and then one day were no longer there. Their music was no longer in vogue. Interestingly the persons we were talking about are now basically broke and I wondered what happened. Is it that they did not put anything aside for what might have become lean days? I know this is not something that’s only happens to musicians but sports personalities etc have the same thing happen to them. Is it that the behavior is such that I can do anything and spend anything because this money tree will be there forever. Sometimes the tree dies because of a drought. I guess there is no thought about how life goes, sometimes you up and sometimes you down.
Maybe it’s just my personality and I’m just overly cautious. Why would you not put aside for a rainy day? Is it the concept that the good times will roll forever? Or is it that they just don’t know? Or is it that they don’t want to know? How can you not see it happen before with others and not think I should prepare so that it doesn’t happen to me or are you so arrogant thinking it can’t. Is it really arrogance or just a confidence that they will be on top forever?
Life must have ebb and flow just like the ocean. If it was static then it wouldn’t be life. Not sure what I would call it but definitely not life. For some I guess it would be great if life was static as they would always be in the same place. There would be no movement especially if it’s in that great place. It would remain the same. Well life is not static it has ebb and flow. There has to be movement. Granted for some persons it moves more than others, for some it’s a tsunami. Sometimes for good and sometimes it’s crazy. Do we get the chance to decide or is it decided for us? Should we live in the moment hoping that we continue to make the mad money or do we put some aside in case of? It’s interesting when persons reminisce about the times when they were on top. It’s fantastic to have that kind of memory but what did you do with what you made? Did you just blow it away because you thought it would last forever? Or as someone said to me it’s just that they didn’t know what to do. So it’s easy come and therefore easy go? When some get money and don’t know what to do it’s hard to blame them as it’s not something taught. Your family can’t teach you what they don’t know. Sad but true. That’s how life is. Sometimes we up sometimes we down. Life is like the ocean it has to have ebb and flow.

From I was growing up I always heard that we must always put down something for rainy days, but sometimes you get caught up and don’t remember that the rain can fall.
It can sometimes be really bad when we forget that the rain can fall and fall really hard.
