When we allow others to determine what’s right, best and important for us then we lose all self respect and control. You’re not being selfish thinking that what you want is the most important thing for you. You are being kind to yourself.

I have to ensure I have things the way I should or life might spiral out of control. Trust me it’s easy to lose the control as things just move away from you and have you wondering if there is any way to get it back to how you want it. Imagine allowing others to dictate how you live your life.
yesterday morning I was just wondering about getting old. I guess it happens after another birthday. Another year on earth and a time to give that higher being thanks for allow me thrive. Getting old is something that has to happen no matter how you try to stave it off.
The thing I noticed was when I push off persons trying to hijack my day for their own benefit I got more done. Do you agree? Or is it that your day is owned by others no matter how hard you try? How do you make the change? Is it even possible to make the change if you don’t own your hours? Would it make a difference?
He and I argued a lot because I just figured he was not the boss of me and so therefore should not be telling me what to do. He didn’t care that I was grown. The fact is I am my father’s child and I figure that’s why we butted heads just a little too often.
How do we continue to grow? Is it something that you can measure or do you even want to measure it?
