The generations move at different speeds, not only physical but mentally.
It’s that time of year
Although my mother really went all out to ensure everything was setup for the celebrations she was mindful of the reason why we were celebrating. So do you do that or is it all about the commercial aspects of the holidays?
I miss you
One would have thought the pain would have been gone totally, but that’s not the situation. For me it’s always there.
Life paths
While on life’s path will persons you love go with you or do you leave them behind? It’s not that you don’t love the persons it’s just that they are no longer able or willing to go with you on that path you have taken. Sometimes you outgrow them and other times they just can’t see your vision.
Taking things for granted
It’s not only your life that you end up taking for granted but also the people that are around you, the ones that you profess to love.
Out of sight out of mind or absence makes the heart grow fonder?
I won’t lie that there are however some people if I never see them again that would be fantastic. Unfortunately life doesn’t always give us what we want.
