So often we see something that we want so badly that we are convinced that if we get it, life will be better. It’s been said, “Ask and you shall receive,” and that’s what we do.
What happens when you reach out to that higher being and ask for something that you consider important and actually get it? Do you accept it or have second thoughts? Does it then mean that you were never really serious about what you had asked for in the first place? Or maybe it took “too long” to get what we wanted, and we had a shift in our priorities. I have seen from my own experiences where it just seems that the approval doesn’t come in what I consider to be soon enough, and I have mentally moved on. Does it mean that I never really needed what I reached out to get, or was it the universe moving too slow to grant the request? Is it too slow, or is it the right time, although you might not think so? Who determines the right time?
Are we being ungrateful when we decide we no longer want what was granted because it came at a time when, in our minds, we no longer need it?🤔. Is it that we no longer need the gift, or are we looking at the situation from the wrong perspective? I have had to step back on more than one occasion and really look at the situation to see if what was dropped on my plate is worth it or if it’s no longer necessary. What I have found is that it usually comes at the right time. We are just too upset to admit it. What do you do when what you think you need urgently takes too long to be delivered? Do you roll with it because, as my stepmom would say, it has happened in “God’s time, not your time.”?
