Persons might think it’s just a old wives tale but in my mind it is real. Karma is balance it’s not right or wrong. Many persons like to think karma is about right vs wrong, but it is not. What you do will come back to you. It’s really what goes around comes around. What you give out will come back to you. It might take a while but you will get your just reward and believe me it might not be good if you didn’t put out good to the world. I am talking about karma in this life that we live, not past not future but now. As the Bible says, “for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. “
I have seen persons treat others with great disdain but I guess they feel nothing will come back or never thought about it. It’s like throwing out a boomerang, when you treat persons badly believe me you might think you are infallible, but I’m here to tell you that it will come back to you. It might not be now but it will happen. I have seen it in my family and others that I know or know of. I have seen people treat others including family so horribly and at the end wonder why these same persons will not come see them. Why are they not there for me? But do you remember what you did in the past? What goes around comes around. It is a fact that some find it hard to forgive while others will forgive but keep you at arms length.
One of my grandmothers would always say what you do now might not affect you but your children and their children and generations to follow. She always believed that and lived her life with this in mind. It might sound strange but it was passed on to her offsprings and will continue for generations I am hoping. Generosity was how she thought we should live our lives. I remember her saying when you think you are poor just know that someone out there is worst off than you are, always give and help others that are worst off than you are. I do believe grandma was right. What do you think? I really want to know what you are thinking, and I know others do too. I quite agree. It is truly a biblical principle- what you sow you will reap; judge not lest you be judged; give and it will come back to you – full measure, pressed down and running over. I believe that this not only applies to the good things but to the bad also. It’s nature’s natural balance. God has a way of balancing everything out- all in good time.
It’s all about balance. Best believe it’s true.
Andrea you and I have had some very deep and interesting conversations in the past.Karma is a hell of a thing.I have kids and I try to live my life by life’s rules and not by my rules.Life rule number one is; treat others as you would have them treat you or your loved ones.As a matter of fact be selfish, think about it like this . If the tables were turned, would you like it? If the answer is NO,then in that moment of selfishness you would know that your actions are wrong and should not be contemplated. That is my four cents .
The golden rule is extremely important in how we live. I totally agree with you. At the end of the day can you look back and say life is well lived?
You reap what you sow.
Yes you do. Many don’t understand but it’s true.
