Why focus on things that have no importance in life? But what do you consider to be important? I consider family and friends to be important but the drama that’s happening in a movie star or “influencer’s” life is not important to me. At the end of the day it’s really up to you to decide what’s important and if it makes an impact on your life. The drama in a movie star’s life can’t help me to pay my bills, not unless they employ me🤔. So I ignore or gloss over it and focus on what helps to pay the bills and make me happy.
That’s the way I think. I know some persons will not agree with me. Especially the ones that are always on social media. How did that persons drama become important in your life? The worst thing is you don’t even know them 🤣. They couldn’t care if you live or die. They however care that you like whatever they posted. Imagine that. Life has sure changed.
How do you get yourself to only focus on what’s important? Especially with the distractions that we have today?🤔.
The big question for some will be, what do you consider important? My idea of what is important might be and usually is very different from yours. For me as I mentioned in my blog on balancing life, (http://www.aaatkinsonperry.com/balancing-life/) you have to decide what your priorities are. I have the Almighty, myself and my family above everything else. What about you? What is important? That’s how you will be able to decide where you go and what you do. When you determine what you should focus on then that expands in you mind and by extension your world. So sit and think about it, what is important and what will you focus on going forward.

Hey Andrea! So true. This social media focus is insane. For me it’s not the “ what” to focus on, but rather the “ how” to focus… that’s not getting better with age unfortunately!!
The shift to get to the how or what to focus on is not easy. I have been able to figure out how to focus. I can teach you 😉.
My faith, family and friends are important to me.
With that in mind, it’s easy to know what and how to focus.
