I saw this meme one day that said at the end of 2020 everybody should shout “Jumanji” so we can get out of this horrible nightmare. It was meant as a joke but I would want to agree. 2020 has been strange and needs to go. This is when we just want to say please go and don’t come back.
What are your hopes for the future, what are you hoping for 2021? What do you expect to happen? Will it be any better or worst or the same as 2020?
I am looking forward to the new year knowing there is a light at the end of the tunnel and it’s not a train. I am an optimist so I will always look towards the future. I find that’s the best way to live life. Look to the future as the past is gone and can’t come back.
I wish you all a happy new year and all the best for the year. I really want to know what you are thinking, and I know others do too. For me, as challenging as 2020 was I learned a lot of important lessons, as if 2020 happen so I could slow down and appreciate the smallest things.
It sure forced us to slow down. Will we take that into the new year? I hope so.
Happy New Year!
2020 was certainly not what anyone expected! In some ways, it revealed the ugly truth about our brokenness here in the US….it taught us that we can truly only control self, that we need to have patience, empathy & compassion for others, to adjust and adapt, to be creative, to take one day at a time…many valuable lessons learned….I embrace this new year with renewed trust in God, and it is my hope that we will all emerge better human beings.
You are so right about everything. I hope all the best for this year. And as you said hopefully we become better human beings.
