When you are a control freak and assume all that happens around you is yours to mold and sculpt into what you want, what happens when life doesn’t do what you want? No matter how influential you are or think you are life throws curve balls and you have no chance of getting things to go the way you want it. Not even money and influence can sometimes allow you to control everything.
I have gone through so many tests throughout my life and have not walked away unscathed but thankfully alive and kicking.
…I would travel by myself all the time. So many persons that I know thought I was crazy. Who travels by themselves and is not lonely. As long as I had something to read and my Walkman I was fine. I was never alone nor was I lonely. I had myself for company….
…as I’ve always said you have to take care of your mental health and guard it jealously. Don’t let anyone try to pierce the bubble that you put around yourself. They will gaslight you and make you doubt yourself and sometimes even your own sanity………It’s not a nice feeling and that’s when you need people you can trust as they make that difference. They form that cocoon around you and make sure you are comfortable in your own skin.
