How can you catch your blessings and show gratitude if your hands and heart are closed because you have grudges against other(s)?

What gives us the right to judge others? Even worst when you judge do you not expect to be judged according to the same standards?
War
Is war really necessary? Why must young people die for only God knows what. What really bugs me is that the members of the upper echelon that send them to war never go off themselves and if they do it’s never in harms way.
