“Good, better, best. Never let it rest. Until your good is better and your better best.”
Do you remember this rhyme that we recited as kids? Did we just say it or try to live it? Did anybody care or pushed us in that direction? My mother did her best to really live this reality. As a matter of fact she thought it was best to push everyone in this direction. I guess she couldn’t help herself 😁. Children learn what they live. I can say this is true as she expected you to do your best so she pushed me in that direction.
I would really want persons to look at this quote and ask are we living our lives like this? Are we doing our best or living our best life? Does it really matter if we do or should we just continue to live as we are doing now with no thought of doing our best? Why even try? Why not push to not accept mediocrity as your norm. In my mind when your norm is below your best it does affect you in the end and there is no one to blame. Remember it’s your life and nobody else can live your life for you. You are the master of your fate and the captain of your soul.

A great reminder message. We do sometimes forget these simple lines that were used to teach not so simple concepts… concepts for life.
Advernum et bonum , Andrea
Advernum et bonum, Carol.
Simple lines for complex concepts and they stuck. Maybe it’s time to bring back the “simple” things in life.
