Someone sent me a quote, not certain where it’s from but this was it “your Faith will move mountains, your doubt will create them.” I thought this was so true. You alone can create your circumstances. When you believe in yourself anything can happen while not having that faith can always create issues. It’s up to you to decide which direction you will move towards. As I have always said how your life turns out has a lot to do with you. Nobody can create your faith for you, only you can do this. You have to believe in yourself and in what can happen when you go after what you want.
Faith will move the mountains placed in front of you all the time. You had better believe that. It’s not hairy fairy up in the air. It’s fact. “Belief kills and belief cures”, as per my mother. Without that belief and faith in yourself you are at a stand still. Do you ever notice that some persons that might not be considered the brightest in the pack will always come out on top? Can it be that faith that they have in themselves and their abilities that allow them to move every obstacle out of the way. No matter what happens they can achieve any and everything. Then there are the others that doubt everything and themselves. How can you have anything happen for you? Remember it’s up to you. What do you think? Can others put mountains in your path and if they do can you move them with your faith? Or just go around them? Let me know what your ideas are. I really want to know what you are thinking, and I know others do too. Try commenting 👍🏽, but if you are not comfortable, reach out to me via any medium. Your comments let me know how you feel and very often give me a total different perspective on the topic. 😉. And you can never tell your comment might help others.

The quote is from Matthew 17
Matthew 17:19-20
19 Afterward the disciples came to Jesus privately and asked, “Why couldn’t we drive it out?” 20“Because you have so little faith,” He answered. “For truly I tell you, if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.” …
We sometimes become overwhelmed by circumstances happening in our lives that we forget to reach out and lean on God. It takes building and having a deep relationship with God and including Him in every aspect of our lives. Letting Go and believing Him.
Further, In James chapter 2, James writes that “as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without deeds is dead.” Here James affirms that deeds (or actions) are the byproduct of a living faith. Works do not justify us or make us righteous before God, nor are they the means to salvation. Rather, our deeds are the fruit that grows from one who is obedient to God’s commands and transformed by His grace.
Thank you, this message has reinforced a current situation.
🙏🏽. You have made the point even better and clearer. Faith is needed for this life, without it where are we?
Let go and let God.
In comparison to encouragements for the exercising of faith, I’ve noticed a curious absence of encouragements for the adoption or exercise of confidence.
Under which circumstances would one exercise confidence rather than faith? Are they one and the same? Or are they mutually exclusive?
🤔I think they are mutually exclusive. One can have tremendous faith but not be confident in my mind.
Faith looks toward that higher being while confidence is internal.
That’s how best I can explain it.
